Projects
I've worked on many projects over many years. Some of my favorites:
-
dye, a portable and respectful color library for shell scripts. dye is designed to both run just about anywhere (including many different operating systems and containers, and many different shells) as well as carefully decide whether to enable color, depending on user preferences and environment.
-
4-e, a Game Boy Advance ROM that emulates the Super Mario Advance 4 e-Reader scanner, transmitting e-Reader card data to the game you can embed into the ROM yourself with its companion web app, gbfs-web—all without trying to figure out how to print e-Reader cards.
-
download-windows-esd, windows-esd-to-iso, and windows-iso-to-usb, a suite of tools that comprise a transparent way to get Windows installation media while you're sitting at a Mac.
-
updatebot, a Mastodon bot for updating you on its feelings. Inspired by (and improving on) the old "BiBot" when I was on Twitter.
-
transfile, a TFTP implementation for the Nintendo DS, for getting files on and off homebrew storage media.
-
pocket-shots, a downloader and converter to create Library images for the Analogue Pocket from libretro's collections.
-
webterm, a minimalist terminal emulator. No frills here.
-
button-test, a Game Boy Advance button test ROM meant to serve the same purpose as bbbbbr's tester for the Game Boy. Great for checking d-pads.
-
bbstool, a GUI to inject songs into the Nintendo DS music game Daigasso! Band Brothers.
